EYST resilience conference

Ethnic and Youth Support Team (EYST) organised a resilience conference on the 28^th of November 2018.This conference aimed to bring together different voices and experts in ‘extremism’, discussing the challenges faced by young people today. MEND regional Manager Sahar Al-Faifi spoke about the problem of securitising young people and excluding them form public life. Sahar encouraged better engagement between the government and grassroot organisations to foster trust and better community cohesion.
