About this event:

In 1918, the Representation of the People Act gave the first British women the right to vote and stand for public office. One hundred years on, we are inviting women and girls across Cardiff to come and mark this historic moment.

There will be a movie screening of the Suffragette, followed by diverse women panel discussion.

Join us to learn more about the Women’s suffrage in the UK led by Emmeline Pankhurst. How did Emmeline achieve that? And what are current challenges faced by the diverse women of Cardiff and how can we support and inspire one another?

Speakers: Charlotte Lewis, Rakiya Mamman, Hanan Issa, Sahar Al-Faifi

Ticket is £5/person including food
