In a powerful demonstration of unity against prejudice, Bradford University Islamic Society (ISOC) orchestrated a transformative Causes & Cures workshop in collaboration with MEND (Muslim Engagement and Development). Held as part of their initiatives for Islamophobia Awareness Month, the workshop brought together a diverse audience of both staff and students.
MEND’s expertise shone through as they navigated the complexities of Islamophobia, offering tangible solutions during the workshop. Attendees gained invaluable insights, fostering a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by the Muslim community and empowering them to be agents of change.
We extend our sincere thanks to Bradford Uni ISOC for their proactive role in addressing societal issues and providing a platform for these crucial conversations. By inviting MEND to deliver this impactful workshop, ISOC demonstrated a commitment to creating an environment that actively combats prejudice, promoting inclusivity and understanding.
This collaborative effort not only educated attendees but also served as a beacon of unity against discrimination. Bradford Uni ISOC’s dedication to fostering dialogue and awareness stands as a commendable example, reinforcing the importance of building communities that stand united against prejudice and discrimination.
