On Saturday the 14th of October MEND North held a workshop on Pro-Palestinian Activism at Al Hashim Academy.
The workshop discussed the legal right of Muslims in Britain to express solidarity for the Palestinians being persecuted and the apartheid they have experienced for too long. The goal of the workshop is to equip individuals and Pro-Palestine activist with confidence in their activism.
The trainer further discussed the right of freedom of expression and the right of assembly as an integral part of UK and international Human rights and the evidences for specific talking points, which are well known to the international community.

The session ended with a Q&A and attendees feeling empowered to voice solidarity with the Palestinians!
